Synergy Racing rebranded to Point Blank Racing, James and Hodgson added to driver line-up for 2019.2

Team Principal Matthew Boy has announced a rebranding of Synergy Racing to Point Blank Racing, as well as exciting additions Gert James and Nick Hodgson to his driver line-up, for the up-coming 2019.2 Sim Race SA season

Team Principal Matthew Boy has announced a complete rebranding of what was Synergy Racing to Point Blank Racing for the 2019.2 Sim Race SA championship season.

”What began as a rebranding of Synergy Racing Team at the end of the 2019.1 season, has very much evolved into an exciting new franchise, with a stable of very talented drivers (and me), all eager to hit the track and leave their mark on the coming season here at SimRace SA. I am proud to present Point Blank Sim Racing.” said Boy

The team has signed 2016 SA simGT Drivers’ Champion Gert James, and 2017.1 SA simGT Teams’ Champion Nick Hodgson, to the Apex subsidiary team. Endhren Govender joins Boy in the Spartan team. Point Blank will run just one team in SA simGP, Boy and Hodgson will lead the effort.

From the teaser picture recently released, the team has seemingly chosen the Assetto Corsa Nissan GTR GT3 and BMW Z4 GT3 for the up-coming season.

The new 2019.2 Sim Race Championship season will start on 15 July 2019, all sim racers, novice and experienced, are welcome to sign-up for the new season by visiting the 2019.2 Sign-up page.
