The first goal for the 2019.2 season is to qualify for, or work towards, Division 1 in Sim Race SAs flagship championship; the SA sim GT Series, Division 1 is where the most amount of championship points are available. Championship points can still be earned from Division 2, and Division 3 rounds. Division 1 races will take place on a Monday evening, and Division 2/3 races on the following Wednesday evenings.

SA simGT Series round format:
1 x Qualifying session (15 minutes) starting at 20:30
1 x Race session (90 minute race) starting at 20:45
1 x Mandatory pit-stop required

How to qualify for SA simGT Series Division 1 racing:
- A top 22 result in the Season Division qualifying evens
- A top 3 result in the race qualifying session from the previous Division 2 round.
*Note, the bottom 3 from Division 1 race qualifying will be dropped to Division 2 for the next round.
**The top/bottom 3 qualifying system will apply to Divisions lower than Division 2 as well.
Season Entry Fee:
A once-off and flat fee of R150.00 for the 2019.2 season (including all other championships) is required.
