RSA Protea SimSports takes on Round 3 of the Virtual Le Mans Series (VLMS) this Saturday evening, virtually at Istanbul Park. The race will be 4 hours in length.
After the #70 Corvette C7.R finished 7th during Round 2 of the championship at the Fuji Speedway 4-hour, in the hands of Chris Heyneke and Leandre Sparks, the team is looking for another strong run. A change in the driver line-up sees Brent Lindsay-Rae in for Leandre Sparks.
With 41 teams and well over 120 drivers taking part, the VLMS is the official feeder series to the Virtual Endurance Championship (VEC). The VEC is an official rFactor 2 league closely based on the real-world World Endurance Championship (WEC). RSA Protea SimSports is currently contesting VEC in both Divisions 2 and 3, working towards an entry into Division 1 for the following season.
