The 2015 National Sim Racing Champs start now

The 2015 South African National Simulation Racing Championships kick of this evening (2 February 2015) when round 1 of the SA simGT Sprint Series takes place at Silverstone. Round 1 will see 7 teams go head to head for the the new season’s first opportunity of sim racing glory.

At this stage, the simGT Sprint Series favorites must be the Squadro GhostworX championship winning pairing of Basheer Jadwat and Jonathan Bentz, however they will have to keep there wits about them as multiple race-winner Boyd Bryson has just been retained as part of the Xtreme Racing driver line-up. Many others, as well as the newcomers to the series, will be wanting to establish themselves at the top of the pecking order early on in the season.

With over 60 entries shared between 5 championships, including the Clubmans simGT Challenge, the first 2015 season is set for exciting competition.

The new SA simGT Endurance Series season starts on Thursday (5 February 2015) this week with atleast 7 teams expected to take to the fold. The single-seater championships start next week with the first rounds of the established SA simSS3 Series on Monday (9 February 2015) evening and the new SA simSS1 Series on Thursday evening (12 February 2015).
