Taurus Racing launches SS3 assault

Taurus Racing has entered into the South African simSS3 Series.

Team Principal Quintin Haarhoff confirmed the team’s commitment at the recent launch of its simSS3 program.  Haarhoff will team up with Riaan v.d. Westhuizen to make up the team’s driver line-up.

Haarhoff has experience racing in various Formula 1 leagues.

v.d. Westhuizen  started racing go-karts at an early age  progressing to race a MAN racing truck at Kyalami. In 2005 v.d. Westhuizen started his sim racing career in the Formula Sim Racing League by competing in the World Series Pro75 offline division before moving on to compete in the SARL league in 2007 , and on to the 2014 GPVWC WSS Series he currently competes in

Taurus Racing has secured a variety of sponsors which include RMI (Retail Motor Industry) , Legends Racing , TTMC Services and OliFocus

  1. Awesome! So the grid is full now at 20 cars! Epic to be honest!

    One tip for the new team. Make some key differences in your cars liveries. Otherwise you’re gonna really struggle to see whos who in the replays and its also difficult for the commentators to report accurately when both cars look exactly the same. Some easy areas to edit is the winglets on the front wing, the protection piece around drivers and then your mirror and mirror supports.

    Bring on Silverstone!
