van Wyk joins Xtreme Racing

Marius van Wyk has joined forces with Ken Hunter at Xtreme Racing, the addition extends the team’s SS3 program to two cars.

Van Wyk started competitive sim racing in 2004 with Antonio Racing Team. A move saw him help to establish Deltec Racing Team in 2005. Deltec Racing Team competed in various FSR leagues from 2005 until 2007. The highlights of van Wyk’s career are a 2nd place finish in the 2005 FSR Pro75 offline series championship (rookie year) and in 2006 helping Deltec Racing Team together with Zaahir Essa et al, under the Team South Africa banner, to finish 2nd in the Armaroli World Championship.

Together with his new commitment to SS3 and Xtreme Racing van Wyk will continue to compete in the GPVWC WSS Championship.
