Garassino quickest in final practice for SA simGT season opener at Donington

Lance Garassino, in the #33 Ichor Racing Audi R8 LMS, was the fastest man of the final practice session for the 2016 SA simGT Series season opening round at Donington.

Team JVC’s Johnathan van Merwe was quickest in GT-AM.

Garassino, on his 18th attempt, clocked a 1:28.16 to put him only 0.22 sec of nearest rival GhostworX Racing’s Basheer Jadwat in the #83 Audi. Third quickest was AGBS’ Gert James in the #102 Nissan GTR GT3, trailing Garassino by 0.41 sec.
